Oral Blend SF contains purified water, sorbitol, glycerine, sweet citrus-berry flavour, sodium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, xanthan gum, and carrageenan, as well as sodium saccharin, citric acid, and sodium citrate as buffers and simethicone as an antifoaming agent and methylparaben sodium, propylparaben sodium, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate.
Oral Blend SF is an aqueous-based sweetened vehicle consisting of a synergistic blend of suspending agents that have a high degree of colloidal activity. The suspending agents form a structured, gel-like matrix which suspends particles and allow for little settling. Oral Blend SF is buffered to a slightly acidic pH to help reduce degradation of medicinal agents through oxidation. An anti-foam agent is incorporated in Oral Blend SF to allow for vigorous shaking with minimal foam.
Oral Blend SF combines the suspending properties of Oral Plus with the flavouring agents of Oral Sweet SF and is ideal for paediatric suspensions and geriatric suspensions.
Store in original container, tightly sealed, protected from direct sunlight, in a dry and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials. Eliminate all ignition sources. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination. Store below 25ºC.
