Oral Blend is a flavored oral suspending vehicle used to simplify the process involved in the extemporaneous compounding of oral suspensions. Medicated powder can be incorporated into Oral Blend to form elegant, uniform and physically stable suspensions.

pH (Approximately): 4.0 - 4.5
Oral Blend contains purified water, sucrose, glycerine, sorbitol, citrus-berry as flavour, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, xanthan gum, carrageenan and citric acid and sodium phosphate as buffers; simethicone as an antifoaming agent; and potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, methylparaben sodium, propylparaben sodium as preservatives.
Oral Blend is prepared with a slightly acidic pH and with a balance of preservatives and buffering agents to help minimize common degradation. When mixed with medicated powders and/or crushed tablets, final compounded products form elegant, flavourful, and physically stable suspensions.
Oral Blend combines the suspending properties of Oral Plus with the flavouring and sweetness agents of Oral Sweet, and is ideal for paediatric and geriatric suspensions.
Store in original container, tightly sealed, protected from direct sunlight, in a dry and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials. Eliminate all ignition sources. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination. Store below 25ºC.
